Zemithang Valley is located 15 kilometres from the China-Bhutan international border. It is located at a height of 8,000 feet above sea level in the most isolated part of Arunachal Pradesh's north-western region. The huge, golden cultivable areas, wide valleys, and breathtaking mountains make up this hidden paradise in Arunachal Pradesh. It is located 90 kilometres from Tawang's main town, and requires 4 to 5 hours by car to get there. Zemithang is a place of absolute peace, calm and serenity.

The drive to Zemithang is quite beautiful. The road's excellent condition, which is among the best in this area, contributes to the enjoyable journey. The road meanders through several gorges. 3 kilometres before reaching Zemithang, there is a monastery named GorsamChorten. In 13th century A.D., Lama Prathar of Zemithang's Kharman village built it. It is 93 feet tall and stands on 186 feet base. It was inspired by Nepal's Boudhinath stupa.

Zemithang also offers a wide variety of hiking opportunities because it is calm, tidy, and equipped with a natural landscape of flora and fauna.
